Moving Day

LinkedEarth has moved! Or rather, it is in the process of moving. Some pointers to navigate the process.

LinkedEarth is undergoing a major revamp. Our Wordpress-based website was starting to get very unwieldy to maintain (not to mention our NSF funding dried up in 2018), and since most of our code and standard development takes place on GitHub these days, we figured we’d move our homepage there too. It’s still rather embryonic, but eventually will be found here.

In the process, we’re also revamping our blog, hence this post. We’re moving our activities to Medium, where they can have wider visibility, and don’t depend on the whims of our server. In the process, we are also rethinking the purpose of the blog. We’ve decided on a CyperPaleo blog to share various perspectives (mostly, but not exclusively, from LinkedEarth-associated scientists at USC and NAU). In the next few weeks, we’ll be moving over (and sprucing up) a few of our old blog posts, and sharing some of the things we’ve been up to. Until it’s safe to see each other at a meeting again, see you in CyberSpace!
